I studied photography first and was only later drawn towards textile and print design. I have always been influenced by the past, crazy visuals of 1930’s and 40’s. Fashion, art and popular culture like Elsa Schiaparelli, Emil Nolde and David Bowie inspire me too. It is important to me that my work is not too serious, it has to be fun! I believe that design is there to bring light, beauty and good humor to our lives.
