Paul’s illustration style surfaced when he lived in Dublin many years ago, where it was too cold to do anything but drink buckets of Guinness, and draw. These days he lives in New York, where he works as an Art Director at advertising agency, Droga5. Creative freedom is rare in the advertising industry, which is why Paul begins his illustrations without an endpoint in mind, and lets them create themselves as much as possible.
