Christi Turner is a self-taught artist whose roots belong to the flatlands of West Texas, home of the most beautiful sunsets in the world and also the inspiration for the name FlatLand Artistry. Her love of art is in fact inspired by the world renowned artist, Mother Nature herself.
Christi‘s specialty is in resin but she also loves the unpredictability of alcohol inks. She describes the process of the two mediums as a magical metamorphic show where the artist is just lucky enough to have the best seat in the house.
Christi is a “possibilitarian” who believes anything is possible through her faith. She uses her social media platform to inspire and encourage other artists to try something new, be disciplined, never give up and most importantly to believe in themselves.
You can find Christi’s art on display at Show Me the Monet Gallery of Fine Art in Arlington, Texas – where she is also one of the featured monthly art instructors. She is also available through Wexle Art and showcased across the country in their “one of a kind” art displays and frames.
