Who ever came up with the phrase “over the top” just wasn’t thinking clearly or maybe just didn’t have access to contemporary designer wallpaper, stylish designer cushions and funky fabrics.
Sure there’ll always be a place for cool as a cucumber Scandinavian paired back aesthetics but sometimes it’s fun to add the glamour of O.T.T to your lounge, diningroom, bedroom or kitchen with some brightly printed luxury fabrics, cushions or wallpapers.
Whether it’s geometrics, animal prints, striped or retro. Linen, velvet lush cotton or something more simple. Whether it’s upholstery, wall coverings or just a couch jam packed with pink, yellow, teal or blue – sometimes too much is not quite enough.

Gianni Versace (R.I.P)
From luxurious wallpaper on the ceilings of his bedroom to 24 carat gold inlays in his pool Gianni Versace was flamboyant and big and his house was an extension of his designer lifestyle. You might not have his millions but you can have his look. Mix and match bold patterns and think about using designer wallpaper and upholstery in fresh and original ways. Play with the textures of linen next to metallics. Be a little more Miami than you’re used to.
