Do you offer samples?
Yes, we do! We have samples available in the Easy-Hang and Luxury Metallic materials. These can be ordered through the website by clicking the ‘Order sample’ button in the product listing. If the design you would like a sample of doesn’t have the button available, please get in touch.
We also provide samples of our vinyls for commercial projects, please get in touch.
When will my samples arrive?
Delivery usually takes 1-2 weeks for EU, UK and US sample orders, but there may be occasional delays. Delivery to the rest of the world may take longer. Samples are sent with standard mail without tracking.
We offer expedited sample delivery with tracked courier for an additional cost. Courier delivery for samples usually takes 2-5 days depending on where in the word you are based. If you would like to upgrade to courier delivery, please contact us either via LiveChat or email [email protected] for assistance before ordering.
What size are your samples?
Most of our samples are A3 size (42cm w x 29.7cm h / 16.5in w x 11.7in h). The samples show both a detail shot in the true scale of the design and a full shot of the design.
Some designs may still be available as A4 size (21cm w x 29.7cm h / 8.3in w x 11.7in h) samples that show a detail shot of the design in the true scale.
Do you offer free trade samples?
Yes, we offer trade samples free of charge. Please get in touch with our team via email [email protected] for more information on trade samples.
What is the difference between wallpaper and wall murals?
Wallpaper is sold in standard size rolls. Wall murals are custom made to your wall size.
Wallpaper rolls are 50cm (19.7inch) wide x 10m (32.8ft) high.
Some of our designs come in ready cut drops. The coverage is 150cm (19.7inch) wide x 320cm (10.5ft) high, including 3 x 50cm (19.7inch) wide drops.
The custom size wall murals are made according to the width and height of your wall. The murals come in pre-cut 50cm wide drops that are the full height of the mural. The drops are numbered for easy installation.

What size are the rolls?
We have designs available in three different formats.

How do I measure my wall?
Measure across your wall from one end to the other to get the width. For the height, you need to measure the full height that you want to wallpaper.
If you are wallpapering more than one wall that are next to each other, you’ll need the combined width of the walls for the total width. If the walls are different heights and you have chosen a wall mural, you’ll need to have the mural made according to the highest point of the walls. Add 20-50cm extra material to cover the corner.
Please include in the full width and height any windows or doorways that need wallpaper around them. When you install the wallpaper, you’ll be able to cut out the parts where your windows, doors or any other areas that are not to be wallpapered are located.
Add extra material for installation. We recommend that you add 10-20cm extra material for your order size.
How much wallpaper do I need? Do I need to add extra for installation?
We recommend adding around 10cm – 20cm (4 – 8inches) of extra to both the width and height of your wall to help with a smooth installation. If you are going to install the wallpaper on more than one wall, we recommend adding around 20 – 50cm (8 – 19inches) of extra to the width per corner.
Wallpaper rolls will come in the size specified in the product listing. Wall murals are custom made to the measurements you provide. Please add extra to your wall measurements when determining how many rolls or what size mural to order.
If the design is sold as a wall mural, you can click ‘’Customise & Buy’’ to enter your wall measurements either in centimetres or feet. After you’ve entered your measurements, you’ll be able to move the selection tool over the design to choose your crop for the mural.
For wallpaper rolls you can use our ‘’Roll calculator’’ feature. Please include 10 – 20cm (4 – 8 inches) extra for installation in the measurements you input into the calculator. The calculator will take the repeat height into account and calculate how many rolls you will need.
Are Feathr wallpapers suitable for bathrooms and kitchens?
Our wallpapers are suitable for bathrooms and kitchens.
For the Easy-Hang material, the occasional splash of water should be fine, however the wallpaper should not be in direct contact with water. We recommend Luxury Metallic or Heavy Vinyl wallpaper for bathrooms and kitchens as these materials are washable.
We recommend against installing the wallpaper into a shower alcove or other moist and humid environments as the wallpaper adhesive may not hold up over time.
If you have chosen a non-woven wallpaper for your project and you want to give it an extra protective layer, you can apply a layer of decorators varnish on top of the wallpaper once you have installed it. When using a varnish, please first apply a small test batch in a discrete part of your installation.

Which wallcovering materials do you offer? Are your wallpaper suitable for commercial projects?
We offer a variety of materials that are suitable both for home and commercial projects. All our materials are fire rated.
Easy-Hang non-woven wallpaper: Great for both home and low traffic commercial projects. A paste the wall wallpaper with a matte finish.
Luxury Metallic wallcovering: Beautiful shiny metallic finish, available in gold, silver and bronze. Washable, suitable for both home and commercial projects. A paste the wall wallpaper with a metallic finish.
Heavy Vinyl wallpaper: Suitable for high traffic commercial projects and a great choice for home projects that require extra durable and washable material.
Removable peel and stick wallpaper: Easy to apply and to remove. A great wallpaper choice for when you are renting.

Do you have a minimum order amount?
We want to help with even your small projects. For wallpaper rolls the minimum order is one roll, and for wall murals the minimum is 3sqm/33sqft.
Fabrics sold in metres can be ordered in full metres starting from 1 metre. For fabrics sold in 3 metre panels, the minimum order is one panel.
How do I place and pay for an order?
You’ll be able to add to check out any product you’d like to purchase by clicking ‘Add to bag’ button.
For wall murals, please click ‘Customise&Buy’ to enter your order measurements and choose your crop. You’ll then be able to click the same ‘Add to bag’ button.
You can access the checkout by clicking the shopping bag icon in the upper right corner of the page and choosing ‘Checkout’. At the checkout you can fill in your billing details and choose whether you want your order delivered to the same address as in the billing details, or add a different shipping address.
You can pay for your order either with secure credit card payment, PayPal. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, American Express and JCB credit cards. You can also choose to pay for your order in installments via Splitit without any extra fees or interest rates. You can read more about Splitit here.

Can I customise my order?
We want to help make your wallpaper project work with the space you have. If you would like to change the scale of your design, customise the crop for your wall mural or if there are any changes you would like made to a design, we’ll do our best to help.

Can I make changes to my order?
If you notice that you have for example ordered the wrong size or need to change the design, contact us immediately at [email protected]. If you have ordered a wall mural and need to change the size, if your order hasn’t been processed yet, it is possible to change the size.
If you need to add more rolls to your order, you can place another order and let us know your order numbers so we can ship them together.
Are the wallpapers in stock?
We make all our wallpaper and fabric to order so we are never out of stock. There are no order limitations and even large orders are possible on a tight schedule. Our production time is on average 3-6 days and delivery usually takes 1-4 days, depending where in the world you are located.
When will I receive my order?
Our wallpapers and fabrics are made to order and we do our best to have them with you as quickly as possible. You will receive the tracking information for your order via email as soon as your order is ready to ship.
The production time is 3-6 days. All full roll, mural and fabric orders are sent with tracked courier. The delivery usually takes 1-2 days for the UK & EU, 1-3 days for the US and 2-4 days for the rest of the world.
Wallpaper samples are sent with regular mail. They arrive within 1-2 weeks in most destinations.
Please note that there may be unexpected delays from the courier or customs that are out of our control.
Is delivery free? Are there any other fees to pay?
We offer free worldwide delivery on all orders placed via Feathr.com.
For customers in the EU and UK, there are no further duty or local taxes to pay once you have placed your order with us. Deliveries to the US don’t have any duty or import fees.
For customers in other countries, duty and local taxes may apply and these are the responsibility of the recipient. For more information on the duty and taxes in your country for wallpaper and fabrics, please contact your local customs agency.
My delivery details are incorrect, how do I change them?
If your delivery name, address or email is incorrect, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with the correct details. If your order has already shipped, you’ll be able to change your delivery details by contacting the courier with your tracking number.
I need another roll, can I have a roll from the same batch?
All of our wallpaper is made to order, and rolls ordered separately are produced at different times.
We do careful colour profiling between production batches. However, we cannot guarantee a 100% colour match between rolls produced at different times. Please inspect the rolls carefully before installation.
What wallpaper adhesive should be used? Where do I find the right adhesive?
For the Easy-Hang and Heavy Vinyl materials, please use Paste-the-wall adhesive for non-woven wallpaper. The paste is applied on the wall and the dry wallpaper drops are placed on top. Please note, Paste-the-paper and All purpose adhesives are not suitable. Your local hardware store should stock Paste-the-wall adhesive.
The Removable peel and stick wallcovering material is self adhesive. This wallpaper has a backing that you peel off. The wallpaper drops are then applied directly to the wall and no glue is needed.
How to prepare the wall for the wallpaper?
Your wall should be clean, dry and smooth before installing your wallpaper. Remove any traces of old wallpaper and any patches of dirt, grease, dust or mould that may affect the wallpaper glue.
Sand down uneven walls for a smooth surface. You can also use a wallpaper lining paper to help smooth out the wall and to cover any small marks. Walls painted with glossy paints should be roughened with sand paper.
Painted or recently plastered should be allowed to fully dry before installing the wallpaper. Please follow the paint manufacturer’s instructions on drying times.
How do I remove old wallpaper from my walls?
Before you install your new Feathr wallcovering, you need to remove any old wallpaper from your walls. Depending on what kind of wallpaper you have, the removal process varies.
Our Easy-Hang, Luxury Metallic and Heavy Vinyl wallpapers are strippable. The Peel and stick wallpaper has a self adhesive backing that is easy to peel off the wall. To remove both strippable wallpaper and peel and stick wallpaper, first loosen a bottom corner and pull the wallpaper off the wall. Hold the wallpaper as close to the wall as possible to avoid ripping the wallpaper as you are removing it.

How do I install the wallpaper?
Installing our wallpapers is easy. The hanging instructions are inside every wallpaper roll. How to install the wallpaper depends on the material you have.

How do I return my purchase? Can I have a refund?
We want you to be completely happy with the order you receive. If you would like to return your purchase for a refund, please contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of receiving the delivery. Please include your name and order number in your email.
Wallpaper rolls must be uncut and unused in order to receive the refund. Please package the rolls securely and pay for postage. We recommend a tracked delivery for the return. We have return addresses in the US, UK and Finland. The refund will be processed after we have received your delivery.
I’ve received the wrong product, what do I do?
In the unlikely event that you receive the wrong product or if something is missing from the delivery, contact us at [email protected] immediately so we can help with fixing the situation.
If the package has arrived damaged or partially missing, please include photos of the package and labels with your email.
All our products go through quality checks before dispatch, but if despite this there are any problems with the product you’ve received, please email us with photos and a detailed description of the problem. Our team is always happy to help and make things right.
Please make sure you inspect your order right away when you receive it and let us know about any issues before you install the wallpaper.
I’m going to install the wallpaper at a later date. If I have extra rolls left after the installation, can I return them?
We accept returns for our products if we are contacted within 30 days of receiving the delivery. Please inspect the rolls right away when you receive them.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for products left in storage for longer than 30 days after delivery.
My installer made a mistake, can I have a refund?

I want to match my paint with the wallpaper, do you have recommendations?
For paint matching we would recommend taking the wallpaper roll or a sample to your local paint store. This way you can match the colour that you like with the wallpaper design you have chosen.
I’ve finished my project, can I share photos of it with you?
We’d absolutely love to see photos of the ready installation. You can either tag us on social media @wearefeathr or email us at [email protected].
How do I clean my wallpaper?
Domestic stains can be carefully wiped away with a damp clean cloth. Dust can be removed either with a cloth or by carefully vacuuming the wallpaper.
Heavy Vinyl and Luxury Metallic are washable commercial grade materials. You should use a clean soft sponge, mild soap and warm water to gently wash the wallpaper. Ensure no soap is left behind on the surface by rinsing with clean water. Blot dry with a clean, soft, lint-free towel. Do not use abrasive cleaners, chemicals or detergents. Please don’t use bleach on the wallcovering.
