Oh La La Linen Fabric (Blue)

The Oh La La linen fabric displays the experimental, organic and textural nature of Slaughter’s art. To create this piece, which was originally part of a triptych of canvases, she poured, scraped, layered and otherwise manipulated paint on the canvas to create a fabric that is rich in both color and texture.

Our printed linens are woven with cotton for durability and softness.  A sophisticated fabric that’s suitable for curtains and blinds, upholstery and soft furnishings.

Also available in Sand. Length of the panel is 3 meters.

Renowned American abstract artist Kiki Slaughter works from her crumbling studio in a 19th century cotton gin factory. Her work is as an experiment with the fundamental process of painting. She pours, scrapes, layers and otherwise manipulates paint on the canvas to create works that are rich in both color and texture. She is inspired to paint by the very act of painting. In this way, her method is also her muse.
