Lyra Morgan’s inspiration comes from the unseen extra ordinary in everyday life. She is fascinated with the transient nature of water and its ability to take many forms whether it be a formed yet formless cloud or a flowing river. Her paintings create atmosphere by buildings mixed-media layers within the artwork, and by utilizing expressive non-brush techniques.
