I’m a surface and pattern designer who believes flowers mix with everything. My inspiration comes largely from nature, the original artist we all tend to look up to. But I like to cherry-pick different natural elements, like fruit, flowers, bees, moths, sea creatures or birds, and mix them into strange combinations with elements they’re not usually paired with. So if you find an octopus hiding in a floral bouquet somewhere, don’t let it worry you – he’s just there for his morning meditation. I’m largely a digital artist -perhaps this is the reason why I feel so excited when I see work printed on products, and even more so when I imagine it being used and loved in someone’s home.
