As we sifted through hundreds of pieces of work and thousands of votes over the last couple of weeks, one thing became abundantly clear. Man cannot live on pizza and design alone. You also need Diet Coke.
That sorted, we noticed something else.
The talent pool vying for the top spot was larger and more exceptional than we could ever have expected. Eventually, we had to make the call on the winner. But we thought only fair to reward five artists who’d come a close second.
The Five have been commissioned by us to develop a new and exclusive piece of work. And here’s the skinny on their abundant talent:
Teija Vartianen
Her work caught the eye of the community and us from the first day we saw it. Her signature is in stunning craft, expressed in a style ranging from the whimsical to the impressionistic. Check out her work here and here.
